California Connect, also known as the Deaf and Disabled Telecommunications Program (DDTP), is a public initiative funded by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). It provides communication access for Californians with hearing, vision, cognitive, mobility, and speech-related disabilities. The program offers specialized communications equipment and services at no cost, removing financial barriers for eligible individuals.
