Hearing Loss Association of America – Diablo Valley Chapter successfully collaborated with Hearing Loss Association of America – East Bay Chapter and the Association of Late Deafened Adults and advocated for captioning at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre and California Shakespeare Theater. Cal Shakes offers assistive listening devices on a first-come, first-served basis. They also offer open-caption performances during each run of a production.
